Children's Mandarin Class (Age 5-9)

Class Intro:

Designed for children ages 5–9, this engaging class helps students build a strong foundation in Mandarin through songs, stories, games, crafts, and interactive activities. Children will learn practical vocabulary, everyday conversations, basic character recognition, and simple writing while exploring Chinese traditions and culture. Through a fun and supportive learning environment, students will gradually develop confidence in listening, speaking, reading, and writing traditional Mandarin.

No class on 11/25 (Thanksgiving Recess).

Instructor's Intro:

Jasmine Liu is a Mandarin instructor at Tzu Chi Academy Long Island and is pursuing a Master’s in Education at Hofstra University. Teaching since 2024, she has completed professional training in teaching Mandarin to children and adults. Jasmine is passionate about promoting Chinese language and culture through engaging learning experiences.
