Led by professional Mandarin instructors, the Chinese Language for Adults course covers basic vocabulary, conversational practice, reading short texts, and writing exercises, enriched with cultural insights to make lessons practical. Interactive methods such as group discussions, role-play, and real-life dialogues enable students to gradually build Chinese thinking, improve communication, and develop literacy skills. This program is ideal for beginners and adults seeking structured and comprehensive learning. Instructor's Introduction Ms.Liu (Jasmine) is a Mandarin instructor at the Tzu Chi Academy Long Island. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Education at Hofstra University, with a focus on Chinese language education. Ms. Liu has been teaching Mandarin at Tzu Chi Long Island Academy since 2024 and has completed multiple professional training programs in teaching Mandarin to children and adults through Taiwan’s Overseas Community Affairs Council. She is passionate about promoting Chinese language and culture and creating engaging learning experiences for students of different ages.
